Perfect Vacation

This 53 Monterey is the perfect way to enjoy the aroma of spruce, the chill air, and the sun. Roy Lange of Conifer CO said this car was in 100 boxes when he bought it. Someone had installed a 12 volt battery and the only thing that worked was the starter. He has enjoyed finding and rebuilding the guages, power windows, power seat, radio and power top. The car is block stock 6 volt, flathead, Merc-O-matic, with manual steering and power brakes. This car has been featured in the summer 2009 issue of Quicksilver magazine. Roy drives it when he can and is planning an engine rebuild this winter.
